Dang! That's the exception....
In *general*, having an external device event power up the machine should
be easier with ATX. It's in the specific case where the external device
happens to provide the power that the AT case becomes even easier -- totally
trivial. I was busy thinking about the serial connection from smart UPSes,
and not the power connection itself.
