That seems to be the problem, i.e., the bios doesn't "see" it. I have it
as a slave on the primary controller(secondary controller nonworking). I
set it to autodetect and to "none." And on boot up I get the error
message, CD Rom atapi drive not detected.?? I don't know if this 4x drive
is Atapi or not, it is IDE. It has worked on other systems in dos. I have
a Phoenix bios 4.04 in this P75 unit. Help. . .
