Hi All:
I am interested in knowing how many people with Celiac also have Asthma.
I was exposed to some very abrasive chemicals in January. I have been out
of the workplace since that time with 4 unsuccessful attempts of returning.
I am experiencing hypersensitivity reactions (diesel, gas, cigarette smoke,
wood smoke, perfumes to name a few) and they (the doctors) are now saying
that I have reactive airway disease (AKA Asthma).
My problem - Worker's Compensation (Canada) are typing to prove that I had
a pre existing condition (Celiac) and would have 'developed' Asthma at some
time of my life and therefore they hold no responsibility for what is now
going on in my life now.
Does anyone know where I can find some further information on Asthma in
relation to Celiac?
Thanks
Leona (Yukon Territory, Canada).
