A compressed drive is actually a large file on the "real" physical
partition. This file, called a CVF or compressed volume file, has
the name DRVSPACE.00x (x=0,1,2 etc).

How many compressed drives did you have?
Are the CVFs still present.

If the CVF corresponding to your "drive" E: is still there, you can
mount it with a little editing of the DRVSPACE.INI.
