greetings, earthlings
we have now taken over your radioooo.....
hello All.
Since I have upgraded to another motherboard (I had a "Super" brand Intel
TX before, the new mainboard is an EPoX MVP3-G-M, the most expensive Super 7
motherboard around), my old Adaptec AHA-1542 on ISA bus refused to work
anymore.
If I put it into my old VX motherboard, it works O.K. I have tried about
anything I could think of, including changing the ISA slot, the I/O address,
BIOS address, etc. It just won't work.
I have borrowed a Tekram PCI interface from a friend, and it works O.K...
probably because it's not mine. I could buy a newer PCI SCSI adapter, but an
old ISA card like the one I already have delivers enough speed for my 4X
CD Recordable and my NEC Multispin 2X CD-ROM, and I already have planned to buy
2 video cards (my both computers are not very up-to-date in this matter).
Please help me (if possible) get my SCSI card back in order! I would
appreciate any help/suggestions!
Thanks for your support!
Miron.
