I placed one of their PL-54C/MMX upgrades in my venerable P-60 (ca. '93) and haven't looked back since! The P-60 chip makes a great paperweight, incidentally! I received the upgrade module very quickly after ordering it on the web. I had some installation questions that I had emailed through the website, which I was browsing while getting up my nerve to install. The phone rang and it was Nate from PowerLeap calling to answer my questions---I was impressed.
Bottom line: I plugged it in and away it flew (respective to the old P-60 anyway)!!!!
Shortly after that I also upgraded the BIOS to enhance this system--no more overlay for the larger hard drives, 2Yk compliant, etc. The technical guy with the BIOS upgrade was much less helpful in that he tried to convince me that removing the overlay and flashing the BIOS was fraught with danger unless he was on the phone with me--whatever danger **might** have been did not occur, in this case anyway.
Comparatively, the technical help from PowerLeap was assuring and confident, just what I needed.
HTH!
