A really good place for Abit information is the usenet newsgroup
alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.abit. There were a lot of messages when the
bx6-2 first came out about people burning out their fan connectors on the
motherboard by connecting fans that were too powerful . There is not a
thing you can do except find some adapters that will let you plug your fans
directly into the power supply connectors or to return the board. Try your
vendor first and then Abit if you don't get any satisfaction. I've had a
bx6-2 installed for several months but I'm running all fans including my
Alpha cooler off 4 pin power supply connectors. I wouldn't run my machine
at all without fans.
