Hi-
A childrens hospital is one which only treets or specilizes in the treatment
of children (under 18 usualy).
A teaching hospitial is either one conected with a medical school or one that
medical students go to do residencey/internship/ 3rd year rotation at. Most
childrens hospitals are also teching hospitals because of the advanced
teqniques and specialization offered at these hospitials. Teaching hospitals
may range anywere from an inner-city trauma center like Parkland in Dallas
(were kennedy was brought) to a cancer facility like MD Anderson in Houston
Texas or St Judes Childrens Hospital in Tennessee, to Regional Medical
Centers like Bannnok County Regional Medical Center in Pocatello ID.
