Sorry if I used the term "ravenous" too loosely. All I can say is that
myself and a few other paleos that I associate with have all had a
significant increase in appetite since becoming paleo. I used to do fine on
one meal per day. Now I need to eat constantly throughout the day. I am no
longer able to ignore hunger.

Based on the way my dogs were behaving, I would say that (maybe they're not
RAVENOUS) but their appetites have increased to a point where I could not
feed them enough - cost and time effectively.
