A co-worker of mine is VERY allergic to latex.  For this
reason she avoids bananas like the plague...as well as
anything from the rubber tree family....Don't know if
she would have been allergic to bananas before she
became allergic to latex..she used to be an EMT..so
she was exposed to it constantly.  She avoids avocados
too..
