Just joined the list a few days ago and I'm glad to find such a resource. A
stalled Atkins plan brought me to paleo, and so far I'm thrilled with the
results; cutting dairy alone seems to have been a wonderful thing for me.
I made a pound cake last night that was wonderful! Main ingredients are
almond flour, lard, eggs and flavoring. BUT the recipe called for baking
powder, which I noticed contains corn starch. Does anyone know if this is
the case with all baking powders, and if so, is there a valid substitute?
