not true for us.  my son was breastfed for 2yrs.  at a 5 months he was given
a "taste" of icecream from dad and he got hives from it.  I'm not sure if
that one taste triggered the allergy.  I consumed milk during pg and while
nursing until we dicovered his allergy.
