Hi all-

Guess what, I applyed to ISU yesterday. I don't expect to here from them as
to wether or not I have been accepted for 1-2 months.

Anyway let me tell you some more about ISU and Pocatello Idaho which is were
the main campus of ISU is. Pocatello is the second largest city in Idaho and
has a population of 50,000 which is only 10,000 more than McKinney Texas. It
has a bus system plus you can walk to most things in the town.

ISU is built on a hill--well actually 2 planes with a hill in between which
makes for an "upper" and "lower" campus. The planes are relitivly flat and
don't present much of an obstical as far as mobility and wheelchairs/scooters
go.

It turns out the Idaho State has a huge P.E./outdoors department and they
offer tons of adapted sports classes and oppertunites for those of us with
disabilities. Among there offerings are: adaptive swiming, adaptive martial
arts, adaptive snow sking, adaptive water sking, adaptive rock climbing,
seat/wheelchair arobics, white water kyaching for people with disabilities,
adaptive weight training...I think I named them all.

As you know my current major is Health Care Administration which they have.
It turns out Idaho State University has a huge college of health care
proffessions. In fact there pharmacy program is one of the top in the
country. One of the B.S/B.A.s they offer is Health Care Admin. The health
care admin dgree you have to apply to the college of health sciences and be
accepted to the program. If it works out that I don't get accepted into that
program (I will have to do the required prerequs at ISU before I can even
apply) then I will get a degree in social work, psychology, or special
education, or something of that nature from ISU.

 Anyway I am really excited.

Talk to you latter,
 Anee
