Jean-Louis,

Sheesh! How in the world did you manage to do this
so quickly? You must have some super-quick
software tool for this sort of thing.

Thanks much.

- re: Paleo .... Maybe it's best not described
too narrowly as any one particular diet, since for
reasons of climate differences, and changes over
time, and so on, there appear to be many different
local versions. Maybe better to briefly describe
which foods appear to be included.

- "What is Fasting?" Fasting is the abstinence
from any foods or nutrients at all, with the
exception of water. A "short fast" generally
refers to fasts of 1 to 5 days, with "long fasts"
meaning fasts of 5 days or longer. The physiology
of the two is quite different. By the 3rd-5th day
of a fast, the body has converted to an alternate
ATP (energy) production system, called "ketosis,"
in which it is able to use stores of bodyfat as
fuel. The chemistry and ramifications of a fast
are complex, therefore fasts should probably not
be undertaken without adequate understanding of
possible risks or complications. (??How to phrase
this without having to either say too much, or
lapse into opinions on the pros and cons)

- "What is a Juice Fast?" (a misnomer,
actually)(link to a page with info about juicers,
juice newsgroups)

- Maybe someone can compile a list of addresses &
phone numbers/suppliers/resources found in the
archives?

- "Who is ---- ?": (Instincto gurus, NH gurus,
other famous and infamous names)

Thanks again Jean-Louis, and Lynton.

Love Liza
