Hello all,
Still haven't resolved a memory usage issue. If you currently are
using 66MHZ memory (64 mb sdram, 168pin dimm) in an LX mobo 333mhz P-11 and
plan on purchasing additional memory, why couldn't you buy PC100 type, which
is the type of the future and is actually cheaper and more readily
available, instead of the older PC66 type.
Jim Meagher stated that the PC100 type would run slower, but would it not
still run at the same speed as the other PC66 type? If so, then you would
have a least some "late model" ram when you need to upgrade to a BX mobo?
Anyone have any thoughts on this or am I completely out in left field?
John
