Glad my fat-fingering the "send" button helped you wax nostalgic. You're
right, a decent Bendix/King AP would cost my bro more that the plane is
worth to begin with. As far as yoke-mounted GPS, yeah, they're a gas, but
if Big Brother catches you using it as a navaid (expecially in IMC) without
the certified "real" stuff in your plane like ILS/LOC, you be cooked.
Denise, I can't believe you live in FLA and haven't got your ticket! Do it!
The airsickness will eventually go away and, besides, you can only hork so
much, right?
