TWIMC:
When I worked in Alexandria, Virginia in 1964, a fellow worker who
was flush enough to collect cars, drove me around in his NEW Model A
Ford business coupe (the one without the rumble seat). He said his
grandfather had it disassembled, wrapped in oily rags and crated for
a later generation to appreciate. He said he had it reassembled and
it...ran like new.
Wish someone had taken and crated up a nice big turn-of-the-century
hardware store: walls, shelving, stock and all for us to appreciate.
(I love a good hardware store.)
