You'll be surprised. It doesn't hurt much these days at all anymore.
Dentistry has come a long way. They put some paste on so you don't even
feel the shot and then you don't feel the drilling (much).

I say this because yesterday had a composite put on the gouged root of my
eye tooth (exposed because of gun recession--thank you Thai pineapple for
40c each ;)) and it was not too bad at all. Especially fun was the fact
that my new local dentist worked for years in Alaska flying out to remote
villages sometimes.

I also remember having my wisdom teeth out (well before any diet changes in
my early 20's) and having the shots AND the gas. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I
remember saying, "Pull em all out!" It was great fun... ;)

So. How bout an update? How was you trip to the dentist?
