I have read all of the E-Mails in this conversation, and a possible
solution has occurred to me.
You could get a test tube holder and fill it with several plastic test
tubes. They come in a variety of sizes.
An assistant could put the meds in the test tubes in order (they could
even be labelled) which could then be picked up by mouth and the meds
would fall into your friend's upturned mouth. Then they could give her
water, or she could have a container of water with a straw.
