Thanks So much for all the post to my Issue. Yes the system was a AMD K6-2 400mhz.It turned out to be the CPU and BTW the CPU fan was not running as fast as it should have been but there was no where in this system to show the temp. I figure this is what made the chip bad. All the post where great and made me think about other issure that I know will help me in the future. Thanks again. Fred
