System: FIC 2013..CPU AMD K62-380...64 mb PC-100...Fujitsu 4.2 gig...16x
CD...generic sound...generic modem...cirrus logic 4 mb video and Win95OSR2.

My friend was finally introduced to Quake 2 on my machine which ran it fine.
I told him that his machine couldn't run Quake 2 adequately with the current
video card, so we went out and bought the V770. Brought the mobo up to date
with the 4 in 1 drivers offered through the FIC website. Installed the card
and the drivers supplied by the manufacturer.

Now everything seems to have slowed down dramatically. Installing software
takes longer, the mouse jumps across the screen as you move it. The windows
when opened, take a lot longer to display the icons. This may not have
anything to do with it but downloading off the internet is now below 1K bps.
And randomly little colored dotted lines appear and flicker on the screen.

In the display properties under Diamond 3D where it shows the frame rate and
all the settings, the boxes are all checked and the frame rate in the window
is ~5 fps. And when trying to run Quake 2 in OpenGL, it is very choppy and
unplayable.

Does this sound like it is attributed to the video card? Is there a really
good site that tells all about the diamond V770, settings, and info? Should
I swap the video cards again and just make him play DOOM?
