The LS-120 is indeed an MO drive. Its main claim to fame is that the drive
will accept the standard 1.44M floppy as well as the LS-120. At first, I
thought that the LS-120 was the way to go, but after seeing many ZIP drives
get installed in various computers I run into, I think that the ZIP has a
stronger grasp on this market. The need for a 1.44M floppy is getting less
important as it goes the way of the 5 1/4 format. It would seem that the
CD-ROM is becoming the distribution standard.

One objection to the LS-120 is the high cost of the media. Although ZIP
media also is expensive, it is cheaper than the LS-120. The data transfer
rate for ZIP is also better than the LS-120.

Those are my comments - any others?

Have these drives caught on or has Iomega edged them out w/ the 100 and
now 250MB drives? Is Imation the only mfgr of the 120MB capacity 3.5"
drives (LS-120)? Is this strictly an IDE device or can it use SCSI, USB
, Parallel? Is the LS-120 a MO drive (magnetic optical)?
