Greetings to all !!

My system is a MICRON Home MPC -166 Pentium W/ 96MB EDO RAM and $
Diamond 4MB VRAM
running Windows 98 clean Full Install.

 I have a WD 6.4GB and partition as :

 Primary C: 1.16GB = Win98 OS & IE 4.1
  Logical D: 1.49GB = Program Files
          E: 1.96GB = Office 97 Pro
          F: 1.40GB = PhotoShop 5 scratch disk & Windows Swap File=300MB
Min &
Max
setting

WD 3.1 GB partition as :

Logical G: 1.49GB = data File & Internet Downloaded Files
          H: 1.45GB = data files & copy of WIN 98 CD

          I : IDE Zip Drive
          J : CD-ROM Drive

All are FAT 16 Partitions =32K cluster size

It was formatted using Western Digital E-Z Drive and then CD install of
Windows 98.

I was trying to Defrag all the drives after a thorough ScanDisk and it
only defrag
Drive C up to 10% and then it hangs the system I waited 15 minutes
before I tried to reset the computer and it no longer run the default MS
Scandisk.exe after reboot.I try to run Disk Maintenance and when it ran
Defrag.exe, it again hangs the unit when it reach 10%,a cold reboot have
the same problem result.

Another question, Can I keep Drive C as FAT16 and convert all the
logical drives to FAT32 or keep it as is.?

Please HELP!!
