I shared my HP on my network by double clicking "my computer" and using
the "add printer" icon. Double click the icon and when it asks you if you
want to install a local or network printer, choose network, and you
shouldn't get those error messages. From there just follow the prompts. It
takes a little longer to start a print job, but everything works great!
