I checked the settings in BIOS and they were:
CYLS HEADS
PRECOMP LAND ZONE SECTORS MODE
Drive C:User(430Mb) 4970 16 65535
4969 63 Normal
I believe these are the same values I put in 2 years ago and the drive
worked fine at that time (except bad spots appearing on disk).

How did you get Disc Wizard (I got this with the new hard drive and the
old drive that I just returned) to work in DOS mode? I try to use it and it
says I have to run in Windows.
