I saw some Ghiradelli (sp?) chocolate chips at Ralph's in California. The
only other ones were No Name products here in Canada at Loblaws or Superstores.
My family doesn't mind the changes (maybe because I'm the Dad!). Mashed
potatoes taste just as good with soy milk. My wife even prefers the
excellent soy milk we use to normal milk these days. You use dairy free
margarine instead of butter and buy dairy free goods, e.g., Duncan Hines
cake & brownie mixes. You have to read labels though. I just found a Xmas
cake at my local supermarket that was dairy free. Some things like ice
cream are verboten but you can work around that. I eat Tofutti while every
one else has Hagen Daz.
