I didn't see a response to your question on the list so I thought I could
give you a quick answer. Yes, it can be done, but it is not as simple as
putting it in and moving the files. There is a guide that Western Digital
has on line to guide you through all the steps and also a down-loadable
program (E-Z Drive) that helps with installing a new drive. I would
recommend that you read through it and then decide if you want to do it
yourself.
