No restrictions that I'm aware of.
I run a HP CD writer, a DVD drive, HD, 2 Voodoo2's and MX300 Surround sound.
Sometimes all at the same time without any noticable loss.
I'm not sure what your CPU speed is and how much RAM you have, so that may
have a bearing.
I run a 400 Mhz and 128 Meg.
