Linux was developed as a native networking OS(a UNIX like OS for PC)
from the beginning. It is better to compare it with other networking
OS like NT, UNIX. To become a gaming OS, it is still far away to that,
as most of games developed by the technologies from MS Win9x. Linux is
a very good OS, but it is not an ideal OS for gaming in near future,
even there are some Linux based games and some vendors are planning to
distribute some games for Linux platform.
