Hmmm. If they saw no performance increase with a banshee installed, I would
suspect that they are either playing non-3D games, or the games have not
been told there is a banshee installed. Try changing the Quake 2 video
settings away from "Software" rendering to "3dFx OpenGL" and see if there is
a difference then.
