I've got heaps but here's one to start with: The Weald and Downland Open
Air Museum, outside the village of Singleton near Chichester in West
Sussex. Mediaeval and later buildings which were to be destroyed have been
transported from all over England, researched and carefully re-built in the
traditional way. You'll need half a day on site for this one.
Let me know if you'd like more.
If you go to Bath I'm sure you'll enjoy the Building of Bath Museum. Bath
itself is stunningly beautiful.
Visit Brighton to see the Pavilion -- the ultimate beach holiday cottage --
which gives a whole new depth and meaning to the phrase ' over-the-top
Victorian'. Look for the dragon on the chandelier. In a street nearby
there's wonderful interior decorative tilework in a local government
building which houses a library and various other semi-public organisations.
