If you wait for prices to fall you will have to wait forever it appears....
Since the first PC, prices have continued to fall. I have folks always
asking when they should buy their PC (wanting the lowest price), but
unfortunately, they will always have a PC that they could have waited and
gotten at a lower price or with more power/features for the same price.
My advice is to buy it as close to the time that you want/need to have it.
For example, my daughter is heading off to college in the fall. I will
wait until about 1 - 1 1/2 months before she goes to school and get it then
(to have time to check it out before she leaves.) I could wait until she
gets to school and it will be lower in price, or wait until second
semester and it will be even lower, or .... you get the idea. Buy it when
you need it realizing that it will be lower in price the next month.
