Very true. And fruits have been bred to be sweeter, and vegetables juicier,
milder and more tender. If we really ate the wild fruits and greens, I think
we'd get plenty of vitamins. Actually, many of the weeds you pull out of your
garden are excellent food. I plan to use more of them this summer. Pigweed,
lambs quarters, nettle, purslane (a source of Omega-3 oils), burdock, and many
others.
