Preservation New Jersey published a "Preservation Resources Directory" in
1996, which included listings of "specialty contractors" and "contractors"
with varying degress of expertise in preservation projects. Contact
[log in to unmask] It covers not only NJ, but also the Philadelphia and New York
metropolitan area -- at least those who responded to the solicitation. It is
not comprehensive, but offers some names. Then there are the regional
compendiums put out by "Preservation Sourcebook," a for-profit enterprise. I
can get the contact info, if you do not already have this in your files.
