Don't know if this helps, but NJ is currently working on legislation for
statewide preservation tax credits. (Mary... do you have a copy of the
legislation? And is it still alive? I haven't been keeping up on my statewide
info.)
Mike, you could also try contacting Preservation New Jersey

Also... try Craig Bencz [[log in to unmask], (352)357-6576] in Eustis, FL.
He sent me a copy of their local exemption ordinance a while ago, and he
might be a pretty good reference.
