Hello!

I am Nancy (17 yrs old) and I live in Holland. I have some questions
about Celiac.

As long as I can remember I have been sick. I always went to the doctor,
but he couldn't find anything. A friend recommended another alternative
doctor to me, so I went there. He did a lot of tests and he said I was
allergic for gluten. I was very glad that finally someone found out what
was wrong with me. That day I started eating GF. After a week of two I
noticed some changes. After 6 weeks I felt like I never felt before!!! I
was very happy. But a half year later I went to the regular doctor. I
had some healthproblems so I told him about celiac. He said that I was
wrong. So he said I have to do a test. I don't know the english word,
but he looked into my stomach with a tube. After a week I heard that I
had no celiac. But I had eaten a half year GF. Hasn't that affect the
test??? This is a half year ago and I am still eating GF. When I eat
gluten, I become sick. But other people with celiac become sick after 1
"thing" with gluten. I can eat a few things before I get sick.
I hope someone can help me. Is my doctor right? I know that you aren't
doctors, but maybe someone has the same experience as me. I also want to
know if there are dutch people on the mailinglist. Maybe they have some
tips about shops where I can get GF-products.

Thanks.

Nancy
