Hello All,

After having been real ill for three months, and having had various
problems for quite some time (fatty diarrhea, abdominal pain, headaches
etc.), (and after lots of tests) I started on a GF diet. Even after a
few days I started to feel better. I tried to eat some bread (wheat)
once and felt bad again. I got my doctor to do a biopsy, which was
negative :-(. I have the following questions:

- Can I be wrong? It can't be a wheat allergy because gluten-free wheat
starch worked well for me (but I don't eat it any more to be sure). I'm
eating everything except gluten containing grains. I can't believe this
is a pure coincidence. Going GF was a big improvement.

- Can I be right? I was gluten-free for 1 1/2 month before the biopsy.
Can the villi have healed in such a short time? Is it possible that the
villi were not that much damaged yet, giving a rapid regrowth? I don't
have anaemia or folic acid or B12 deficiency.

Any info would be appreciated.

Greetings,

Sander Graswinckel
