You might not realize how subject headers work. They indicate a particular
thread and allow the searchable archives to group a discussion for review.
A decriptive header is best, but it gets tricky as all discussion
inevitably moves on to include new ideas.
Thus when a subject header is changed it can be useful to do so like this:
new subject header (was old subject header)
Follow up posters can then delete the "(was old subject header)"--or it can
get too cumbersome with several "(was...)" piggybacking on each other.
If you don't do this folks who search the archives for your wonderful
expressions/repetitions will not be able to follow your participation in
particulr threads.
