watch out with these connect speeds... there are several
connection parameters, but message "CONNECT 56000" doesn't
means that you're working at 56 : my modem says (with
"verbose settings") : CONNECT 56000 / [something else] 46000,
and the real speed is 46k, although in non-verbose mode it
says CONNECT 56000... quite misleading.
