You will see faster system performance from 100MHZ memory vs. 66 MHZ in the
same way your system is faster at 300 MHZ vs. 266 MHZ. I don't mean to
imply that running your memory at 100 vs. 66 will give you the same sort of
performance boost that a processor upgrade will, but th concept is the same.
The part in question (memory) will run faster which means your system will
be faster.
