Subject: ATI All-In-Wonder Mutes Wave Files

I recently installed an ATI All-In-Wonder card. The program that plays the TV
is called ATI Player. Ever since installing this, as soon as the ATI Player
loads, the "mute" box for wave files gets checked in the Win98 mixer applet
(Volume Control). I can uncheck the mute box and hear wave files. However,
even if I clear the mute checkbox right before shutting down, it is checked
again at bootup! If I clear the checkbox and avoid using ATI Player, the wave
mute box stays unchecked until the next time I run ATI Player. What is going
on? How can it be corrected?
