Prior to diagnosis I was diagnosed with Iirritable bowell syndrone (IBS) and
had that diagnosis for years manifesting itself with frequent visits to the
John. After first going gf they seemed to subside, however, I notice now,
four months later, that I run in spurts with the same symptoms, particularly
after drinking too much alcohol. My other gluten problems have disappeared
(weight loss, anemic, etc). Is it possible to have IBS and still be gluten
free? What role does alcohol play in all this? I'll publish my results.
