When schizophrenic and autistic children were taken off dairy, at
least
80% of them no longer had symptoms of schizophrenia or autism. Here
is
an excerpt of an article I found at http://www.drugawareness.org.

UF researchers cite possible link between autism, schizophrenia and
diet

RELEASE DATE: March 15, 1999

By Melanie Fridl Ross

GAINESVILLE, Fla.---Findings from two novel animal studies indicate
autism and schizophrenia may be linked to an individual's inability to
properly break down a protein found in milk, University of Florida
researchers report in this month s issue of the journal Autism.

The digestive problem might actually lead to the disorders symptoms,
whose basis has long been debated, said UF physiologist Dr. J. Robert
Cade, cautioning that further research must take place before
scientists
have a definitive answer. When not broken down, the milk protein
produces exorphins, morphine-like compounds that are then taken up by
areas of the brain known to be involved in autism and schizophrenia,
where they cause cells to dysfunction.

The animal findings suggest an intestinal flaw, such as a
malfunctioning
enzyme, is to blame, says Cade, whose team also is putting the theory
to
the test in humans. Preliminary findings from that study which showed
95
percent of 81 autistic and schizophrenic children studied had 100
times
the normal levels of the milk protein in their blood and urine have
been
presented at two international meetings in the past year but have not
yet been published.

When these children were put on a milk-free diet, at least eight out
of
10 no longer had symptoms of autism or schizophrenia, says Cade, a
professor of medicine and physiology at UF s College of Medicine and
inventor of theGatorade sports drink. His research team includes
research scientist Dr. Zhongjie Sun and research associate R. Malcolm
Privette.

"We now have proof positive that these proteins are getting into the
blood and proof positive they re getting into areas of the brain
involved with the symptoms of autism and schizophrenia," Cade said.

dear everyone-when ann wigmore was alive up in boston at hippocrates,
she had scientists doing some experimentation to get the
information on sprouts and tray grown grasses. this was published as
nutritional evaluation of sprouts and grasses. it has well over 100
legitimate bibliographic references. the author was viktoras
kulvinskas
who was"former director of research at hippocrates...". this small
book(let) dated 1976 is or was published by
O'Mangod Press
p.o. box 255
wethersfield, conn. 06109.
if they don't exist anymore, maybe our friends at nfl have
it or know how to get it. it seems like ann was onto something special
and i tend to side with her, may she rest in peace. i think a big co.
would have more to lose and therefore an agenda including taking away
your desire to grow your own. beware!! love, neil

Subject: colloidal minerals in plants vs. bottles

dear erica-make no mistake that a bottle of so called colloidal
minerals is superior to what mother nature offers in plants. the
phenomenon of a plants root system going down into the earth and
pulling inorganic minerals out of the soil and converting them to
assimilable TRUE colloidal minerals is awe inspiring and magical.
when you stop to think about it you realize what a grand design is
in place and how no human can outplan the divine design.
