FWIW:

Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Cornell University Scientist, Biologist, Nutritionist,
and lead scientist in the landmark Cornell/Oxford/China Project, the most
comprehensive study ever done on the cause of disease, was one of the original
scientists working on dioxin.

As a result he contracted paralysis in his face and often found it difficult
to talk. He had been to the best doctors and it appeared nothing could help
and it was getting worse with age.

At the suggestion/request of someone he knew from Cornell, he attended and
spoke at an INHS Conference at Hoffstra Uni in NY several years ago and then
met with all the NH physicians afterwards.

End result: he didn't feel it could help anything, but he went for a fast at
the CCCT in California. He noticed some improvement. About a year later he
went for another fast. And refined his diet more. His paralysis seems to be
completely gone.

I saw him a few months ago and he's running about 4 miles EVERY day before
breakfast and, at 65, looks terrific, as does his wife, who changed her diet
as well, and runs about 3-4 miles 5 days a week.
