Hi Walt,
No offense to all the do it yourselfers here (me included), but if your not
sure whether a sim is 72 pin or 30 pin, you would probably be better off
taking your computer to the shop.
The <un-named> chain by me will install NEW memory and test for free if
purchased there.
Hardly makes it worth the effort of a hobbyist to do himself. They also
offer buy 1 get 1 free of the 32 meg variety. It is increasingly difficult
to buy new SIMMs at less capacities than 16 meg .
The old IBM motherboards needed special memory SIMMs (PS2) and I think they
were all gold tipped not tin , not that it has anything to do with your
motherboard.
