This is probably true. I also was not prepared for a change of eating
in a practical sense. I saw later how my mind froze up and I ate
chicken and broccoli for a week because I could think of nothing
else...
Now I have this vague plan that I will try to practice different foods
and preparations, and have lots ready in the freezer/dried and
THEN clean out the cupboard of all the modern foods and jump in the
deep end :-)
Hans suggested I make pemmican for my daughter with coconut fat. That
sounds like something she might enjoy. (I'm looking forward to trying
it too). Your menu suggestions sounded great too - thanks for them.
Unfortuately my daughter seems to have lots of food allergies. At
around 1 1/2 she began to regularily eat food every day. It didn't
take long until she developed excema. At 2 she began to eat 2-3 meals
a day and since then has had constant excema and cradle cap. I'm
hoping that a paleo elimination diet will clear up her system, so that
her true allergies become visible (as I think some are triggered by
grains, for example if she eats oats, everything she eats the next day
seems to make her itch even worse).

Is this a brand name, or a special mixture you can make yourself?
thanks,
