Ambe parolas veni del verbo latin "mirare", i.e. "admirar se de" alcun cosa.
"Meravilia" es un alteration de "mirabilia".
In portugese le parolas se disveloppava troppo differentemente pro que on pote
hodie stabilir qualcunque correlation inter illos: "maravilha" e "milagre".

In portuguese nos ha le verbo "refrescar" e le consequente adjectivo
"refrescante". Io crede que "refrescamento" es toto OK in portugese, ben que nos
usa un substantivo formate irregularmente: "refresco".
(Un analogia reverse, forsan? Il pare que le gente considera que "joco" da
origine a "jocar", e ergo secundo ille patrono illes expecta que "refrescar" sia
originate de *"refresco", ben que illo plus tosto sia "re-" + "fresc" +
"-ar"...)
