When I first read it, many years ago, my reaction was one of interest.
Later, when I went raw myself, I found that --for me-- it was a load
of rubbish. I find that when I'm eating 100% raw*, the less dried
food I eat, the easier it is for me to withstand extremes of
temperature. And I had always been one who had difficulties in that
area. It is when I'm eating less than 85% raw or so that I seem to get
too cold or too hot easily. Dried fruit doesn't seem to help. My
overall opinion of her statement is that it is too much of a
generalization.

*(I eat little dried fruit when eating 100% raw anyway, because store-
bought dried fruit is usually subjected to pretty high temperatures,
so I eat only home-dried fruit during those times.)
