For anyone who is interested, the December issue of "Today's Chemist at Work"
has an article entitled "Living with Lactose Intolerance." I'm not sure where
you can find the magazine, possibly a local library or university library. I
am a chemist, and a co-worker gets the magazine, so I have a copy. Under the
list of "Additional Sources of Information" are the website by the American
Dietetic Association, http://www.eatright.org; "Secrets of Lactose-Free
Cooking" by A. Burlant; and someone who many of us are familiar with - Steve
Carper,
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/stevecarper/guide.htm
Steve's book, "Milk Is Not for Every Body: Living with Lactose Intolerance"
was listed as well.
