Hi...

I have been a diagnosed celiac for over three years. Just recently my
daughter was tested and her anti....was >40. I then requested that she
have a small bowel biopsy. She is twelve. She also has a ferriten level
of 7.
Well.....we just gor back from her GI doc, which happens to be mine
also, and he told her that her small bowel biopsy was OK...it showed
signs of inflamation, but her villi were OK. He told her to go ahead and
eat what ever she wanted and wait until she showed signs of CD.

I am angry and confused. Do I let her start eating gluten again????

I feel that perhaps I should get a second opinion.I live in California
in the Bay Area and we have Kaiser. Any feedback would be great!

Cindy...the perplexed Mom.
